    Productbeschrijving

Stubborn stains sometimes remain visible after you have cleaned your canvas using a canvas cleaner. You can use the Power Cleaner to remove these stains and leave your canvas looking spotless again.

We always recommend cleaning and impregnating your canvas before you store it. Dirt and stubborn stains no longer stand a chance and the canvas will stay clean for a long time.

Our special stain remover thoroughly cleans all canvas types. You do not need to dilute it.

    Stain remover instructions for use

Ultramar's Power Cleaner removes stubborn stains and ingrained dirt from all canvas types. How to use this intensive cleaning product:

    1. Apply the Power Cleaner to the dry canvas. Brush the cleaning agent into the canvas using a soft brush.
    2. Leave the Power Cleaner to soak in for approximately 1 hour.
    3. Don't notice any change? Use extra Power Cleaner, brush it in and leave it to soak in again. Repeat these steps until the stains have disappeared. This may take several hours.
    4. Once you are satisfied with the result, rinse the canvas thoroughly with clean water.
    5. Allow the equipment to dry completely before storing it.

    Tip!

After use, treat with a strong impregnating agent to waterproof and protect the fabric.

Power Cleaner is a super strong cloth cleaner. You can use Power Cleaner on almost any fabric. Always test on a small inconspicuous piece of fabric first. On some tent fabrics, especially cotton and canvas, Power Cleaner can have a slight bleaching effect.

A clean canvas in three steps

Of course, you can use this stain remover on its own. For optimum results, use the stain remover in combination with our regular canvas cleaner and impregnation agent. A dirty canvas actually contains different types of deposits and dirt: usually a combination of sand, mould, algae and mosses, insect and bird droppings, salt and resin, for example.

Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo can be used to remove most dirt. Remove any stubborn stains using the Power Cleaner. Then apply the Sprayhood & Tent Protector or Canvas Protector to protect the canvas. Our three-step plan in a nutshell:

    1. First of all, use the canvas cleaner to remove most of the dirt.
    2. Then use the stain remover to get rid of any stubborn stains.
    3. Finish by using impregnation agent to make the canvas waterproof and dirt repellent.

    Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between the Power Cleaner and the Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo?

Both products have been developed for removing specific stains.
    ● The Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo removes surface dirt.
    ● The Power Cleaner removes stubborn stains.

For the best result, follow our three-step plan for cleaning.

How long should I leave the Power Cleaner to soak in?

The Power Cleaner’s absorption time depends on how stubborn the stains are. It may take sometime.

Apply the Power Cleaner to the surface in question and brush it in. You can leave it to soak in for a few hours, until all of the stains have disappeared. If the stains have not entirely disappeared after the first treatment, you can repeat the process.

Can I use the Power Cleaner on a cotton tent canvas?

Yes. The Power Cleaner is an extra powerful canvas cleaner and is suitable for cotton tent canvases.

Test the Power Cleaner on a small section of canvas first. The Power Cleaner may have a slight bleaching effect on some tent fabric types.

Can I just use Power Cleaner to clean the canvas?

No. You should always clean the surface with the Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo first. Always use the Power Cleaner as step 2.

That way, you will get less colour difference because you have also cleaned the cloth in step 1. Also, the Power Cleaner is more effective because everything has already been cleaned once with shampoo. This is because the shampoo tackles dirt that the Power Cleaner does not.

Why do I need to apply the Power Cleaner multiple times?

By applying the Power Cleaner several times, you loosen any stubborn stains from the tent canvas. The Power Cleaner even gets extremely dirty boat covers, tents and awnings clean.
