HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
HOW TO USE THIS PRODUCT
For best results, follow these steps:
Step 1 – Remove loose dirt from the fabric first
Rinse off sand, dust, and loose debris with lukewarm water. For a thorough base clean, you can use Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo as step one.
Step 2 – Apply Power Cleaner to dry fabric
Spray generously on the dirty areas. Use a soft brush to work the product deep into the fibers. Focus on the deeply soiled spots.
Step 3 – Let the product work for a longer time
Allow Power Cleaner to soak in for at least one hour. You can reapply to heavily soiled areas and spray again during soaking if needed. Repeat until the stains disappear.
Step 4 – Rinse thoroughly with clean water
Once you're happy with the result, rinse the fabric thoroughly. Let it dry completely before storing or re-impregnating.
Note:
Always test on a small, inconspicuous area first. Power Cleaner may cause slight discoloration on some cotton fabrics. Do not use on chrome or polished aluminum.
HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED?
HOW MUCH DO YOU NEED?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What’s the difference between Power Cleaner and Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo?
You use the shampoo for regular dirt like dust, sand, and surface grime. Still see stubborn stains after cleaning? That’s when Power Cleaner comes in. It’s specially made for deeply embedded dirt.
Do I need to clean first before using Power Cleaner?
Yes. Always rinse your fabric with water first or use our Sprayhood & Tent Shampoo. This removes most of the dirt. Then, you only need to use Power Cleaner on the toughest spots – that makes it work better and faster.
How long should Power Cleaner sit?
Let Power Cleaner sit for at least an hour. Still see dirt? Just reapply. Some stains come in layers, so it can take a bit of time. Leaving it on longer is no problem.
Why do I need to apply Power Cleaner more than once?
Stubborn dirt often goes deep into the fabric. Multiple applications give Power Cleaner a chance to break down the grime layer by layer. Brush it in again, apply more product, and even the toughest stains can disappear.
Can I use Power Cleaner on any fabric?
Power Cleaner works on almost all synthetic outdoor fabrics. Using it on cotton or canvas? Always test a small, hidden area first. It might cause mild bleaching on natural fibers.
Is it a problem if Power Cleaner touches plastic or windows?
No, but wipe it off right away with a damp cloth. That way you prevent marks or a dull haze.
Can I use Power Cleaner indoors (like in a garage)?
Yes, you can. Just make sure the area is well-ventilated. The smell is mild, but fresh air makes the job more pleasant.
Can I use Power Cleaner on chrome or aluminum parts of my car?
Preferably not. Power Cleaner can affect chrome and some metals. Make sure to cover those parts well before starting.
Do I need to re-impregnate after using Power Cleaner?
Yes. After cleaning, your fabric is fresh but also more vulnerable. Use a good waterproofing spray (like Sprayhood & Tent Protector or Canvas & Cotton Protector) to restore water and dirt resistance.
